If you use it together with a harness, then open the front two-way tow chain from below and get full control of the rope brake and carbine. Ventilation zippers under the sleeves allow you to let out excess heat without snow, while spacious zippered pockets on the sides keep maps and documents within arm's length. More valuable belongings are advantageously placed in the internal zipper pocket.
