Urban Hiker is a high sneaker and hiking boot in leather whose outsole consists of Tenson's unique Gait Gripper ™, developed in collaboration with Stefan Grau, professor at the University of Gothenburg in biomechanics and movement science at the Department of Sports Science. The outsole pattern is designed to support foot movements at all angles and provide the best possible grip on heels, arches and toes. The outsole material consists of ASX grip (Anti-Slip Xtreme) which keeps you on the track in both wet and dry ground. The boot's soft vintage leather gives an urban, modern look that works just as well on the city walk as the hiking trail. The boot's surface layer is based on a waterproof Super Breathe ™ membrane with moisture-transporting properties that breathe and keep your feet dry and warm. The midsole consists of lightweight and shock-absorbing “e-foam” that combines comfort with extreme wear resistance.
