The new EZONE achieves optimum power and comfort through new cross sections, a precise frame construction that is wider at 3am and 9am, and Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM) in the grip to filter out unwanted vibrations. By varying the angles of the aerodynamically shaped frame, the frame has a softer, more comfortable feel at the ball hit. Liner Tech is integrated throughout the racket to optimize power and control. By drilling straight into the frame structure, the tendon is held wide and rests softly against the grommets. This unique approach results in the middle of the string bed being denser for extra control, while the outer areas are wider for more power and comfort.  For the first time in the sporting goods industry, M40X2 graphite - high strength, high elastic graphite is found in the Y-part between grip and racket head on the rack to improve frame stability and flex. It provides the desired combination of power and flex with a soft feel, resulting in 2.5% higher ball velocity and 7.9% higher vibration damping (*).
